in the haze of morning
i forgot to take my vitamin
it went with me all day
then thrown in a pile
and there is sat
in the dark among the lint and crumbs
i found it one day and said
sneaky vitamin.

take it another day
when it heard this
it bounced from my fingers
rolled across the floor
and under the refrigerator
where it's still waiting
to be found
by mice and cats
